On Saturday, December 6, we’re hosting the EB Manufacturing Career and Hiring Event at the Westerly Education Center from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. Candidates will have the opportunity to meet our teams and explore our manufacturing trades at a mini career fair—connecting directly with the people who do the work every day—before participating in on-the-spot interviews for open roles in Groton. 1. Check-In
Arrive any time between 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. Our team will check you in and guide you through the event flow.
2. Mini Career Fair: Explore Our Manufacturing Trades
Speak directly with current EB employees and learn about the hands-on trades that support submarine construction in Groton. Ask questions, see examples of the work, and discover which roles fit your skills and interests.
3. On-the-Spot Interviews
Qualified candidates will move on to a same-day interview with an EB hiring manager. Interviews are conducted on-site throughout the morning.
4. Potential Same-Day Offers
Based on interview results and hiring needs, select candidates may receive a potential offer before leaving the event.

Electric Boat hires for a wide range of entry-level and experienced manufacturing positions. Some roles include on-the-job training, while others require specific skills. Our team will help you understand which roles best match your background.
What manufacturing roles are open?
We are hiring for a variety of manufacturing trades at our Groton, CT facility, including:

Do I need an appointment to attend?
No appointment is needed. This is a walk-in event, and candidates may arrive anytime between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Will I be interviewed at the event?
Yes—eligible candidates may participate in on-the-spot interviews with hiring managers based on check-in information and role alignment.
Can I receive a job offer during the event?
Select candidates may receive a potential same-day offer based on interview results and hiring needs. While not guaranteed, many attendees will move forward in the hiring process.
Is this event only for Groton positions?
Yes. All interviews and opportunities at this event are for Electric Boat’s Groton, Connecticut manufacturing facility.
Do I need to complete a profile before attending?

How long will the event take?

Is U.S. citizenship required?
Yes. Due to the nature of our work supporting national defense, U.S. citizenship is required for all positions at Electric Boat.
