ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP:
In 1969, Hugo & Shirley opened Huggo's on the Kailua-Kona shoreline. Since then, their son Eric and his partner, Scott Dodd, have expanded our kama'aina-owned and managed businesses.
It is our desire to malama our communities and staff that support us.
As a result we will be awarding 3 annual scholarships & sponsor up to 30 classroom projects* this year to help pass on the Aloha.
WHO CAN APPLY?
High school seniors who will be continuing higher education/vocational training
Teachers of any grade level at a local public school in the districts of Kona, Kohala and Kapa'a.
WHAT DO I NEED TO APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP?
A completed filled out application (see link below)
Copy of high school transcript
1-page letter describing your professional experiences/accomplishments
2 letters of professional/educational references
