Founded by Sam Crimaldi and Elan Randle, Kids4Kids Relief was created in response to the unexpected needs - both tangible and emotional - resulting from the devastation of Hurricane Ian. Our mission is to connect youth to each other through volunteering, donations, and fundraising to bring the light back into the lives of kids like Elan by providing items and assistance that families otherwise may not have access to as they rebuild their lives after an unexpected natural disaster.
Kids4Kids Relief’s ultimate goal is to grow chapters nationwide by providing an immediate plug-and-play solution to solicit and distribute aid - empowering civic-minded kids in affected areas so they may quickly and effectively coordinate fundraising and relief efforts during the critical first few days of a tragedy. Kids4Kids Relief will also continue to support those chapters to guide in additional fundraising and mental support training events in an effort to ensure kids in need are not forgotten after the news trucks drive away.
Often collaborating with other organizations founded by kids, Sam and Elan have been offered an amazing donation of prom dresses by Dress UP, a non-profit based in Los Angeles, whose mission is to provide dresses to people of all sexual orientations, genders, and identities who might not be able to afford or have access to them. Dress Up has generously donated over 100 prom dresses in various sizes to help teens in Lee County experience the joy of prom – an event from which they may otherwise be excluded due to unexpected financial hardship resulting from Hurricane Ian.
Weebond, another kid’s non-profit based in Massachusetts, has volunteered its creative writing services to help spread the word not only in our area but through press releases across the nation.
In an effort to make this a fun and exciting event for the community, we will be hosting a fashion show to gain donations and awareness, while showcasing Lee County student recipients nominated by each school!
